Summertime is in full swing! I know it’s important to try and get out of the house often, but when it’s too hot for the pool, or the park, we like to go to the library. Below is a curated list of all the local libraries in Denton, Justin, Ponder, Krum and Sanger. Keep reading for the BONUS idea I threw in for indoor fun that's FREE!

If you want more ideas that are FREE, here is your BONUS that I promised!
First Denton has their indoor play area open on Tuesdays in June and July from 2-4pm for, “Popsicles and Playground”. Registration is required.
Barnes and Noble has a small indoor play area with a stage. You can have a puppet show or read a book, or just hang out for a while and browse. There really is enough to do to keep you in the cool air for an hour or so.
While at Barnes and Noble you could walk on over to the indoor play area at the Golden Triangle Mall located next to the food court. It is enclosed so you could just hang out and chat with a friend or even read a book while your little one plays safely in the enclosed area. I would recommend sitting by the entrance or where you have a good view of the entire play area if you plan to be multi-tasking.
